Wonderful place. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable and they do the best to get you out of there. Pleasant place to visit.
The CSL plasma center in Pontiac is vengeful. Should they decide they don’t like you, they go out of their way to make you angry so they can permanently defer you!!!! I know I have dealt with that. I am sick and tired of their arrogance believing they have the right to be tyrannical. I wouldn’t have given them any stars but I had to give them at least 1 to leave this. Be careful, if you’re not up to their social standards your next!
They twist the needle in your veins and defer you bc you have a bruise from it. Every time I've been poked it's hurt way more than anywhere else I've been. They complain about their job the entire time and are loud about it; I get it, but not in front of the people donating it just makes me feel like crap being there. When it runs to closing time and people are still waiting to donate, they stick you v hard and fast and stick it in crooked where I had pain for days after. I had been going here for over 100 visits....then, the care and experience dropped considerably. I was willing to look past this until one visit a few weeks back, where the "nurse" deferred me because of a bruise i made the mistake of not lying about. I had blood drawn the day before by a dermatologist. I explained this, and yet, because I didn't have documentation for a blood work-up that the doctor decided to do, I was deferred.
