This forcing of people to wear masks was understandable. But forcing people put on rubbing alcohol before entering the building and forcing them to make people wait while they had you a mask, is very disrespectful.
I have been treated very well every time i donate. I like this location.
Just tried to make my second donation and due to the large bruise they made trying my left arm the first time (after I said please stop your hurting me) then stuck my right and was good. Today they said I am unable to donate because of the bruise THEY caused. Was told to go home and put some ice on it and come back another day!! Plus they cant seem to be on the same page staff wise or very knowing with their computers amongst other things. This place needs some serious over sight and better training to say the least. I went on Tuesday and a senior phlebotomist was my person. She stuck thru my vein and I was not able to donate that day but got paid out the $20. I returned yesterday for my $40 donation and was turned away because of the bruise the sticker caused. THEY SHOULD PAY YOU OUT WHEN THEY DAMAGE YOU and for EACH TIME YOU ARE TURNED AWAY BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THEY DID WRONG. i went in today to donate, this being my 3rd time i was expecting $35. when i got there and finally got into the room (25 minutes later) i was informed that i was supposed to get all 5 visits done within 3 weeks so i would not be receiving $35 today only $15. i was never informed of this or i would have done it. this has got to be the biggest scam ever. when i called to get the corporate number they refused to give it to me. i will definatly be telling everyone i know to go elsewhere. thanks so much for wasting my time.
Lack of logic at this place. You call and ask them if you have a belly button piercing if you can still donate. Their response that question will be answered when you get here. They don't even ask what the amount of time that has passed since the piercing. You can't answer a simple question of this over the phone. How dumb is that??? Why would i want to come there to donate and waste my time and the trip with not knowing if i would be allowed to donate. If you get deferred for your temp, blood pressure, or any other thing, it's for YOUR safety & the safety of meds that often go to CHILDREN.
Don't drink alcohol the day before or the day of your donation. IT CAN MAKE YOU VERY SICK AND YOU MAY EVEN PASS OUT.
If your machine is beeping, clicking, or flowing slow, 99.9% of the time It's the stick or the amount of water you DIDN'T drink.
