We were in yesterday and a little disappointed my husband loves the fried chicken and they didn't have any also the fried mushrooms but, we had the fried asparagus and they were so good. I had my favorite liver and onions and my husband had the chicken parmesan sandwich and all was delicious. Will be back before we leave. We come from Maryland.
Love the place! Food is good and reasonable! It's been around since 1919 One waitress been there 50+yrs And don't forget the tom&jerrys!
Our experience was wonderful. Food was excellent, great prices, great atmosphere, and a friendly server. Will be back.
I love the Crystal. My parents took me here sixty years ago and it still seems like going back in time. In fact the big clock on the back wall says "electrically controlled time". Famous people used to eat here while stopping overnight at the Hotel Woodruff on their way from New York City to Canada. In December 1995 we stopped for a Tom and Jerry after a sleigh ride in Carthage and Santa came in for his Tom & Jerry. The menu is American "comfort food" like turkey or meatloaf, at what looks like 1970's prices.
I am HOOKED on the asparagus fries!! I want them everyday!!
