Never will we be back. Used to be our favorite place, total unorganized establishment. Only sites available are at the hanger . which has zero upkeep at all. Grass knee high , fire pit full of water, had to drive through water to even park. If you like looking at all the abandoned campers , sewer pit and equipment you’ll enjoy these sites.
Needed a simple tent site for a night a week before the season opens, website clearly states thats $15 near the entrance. After calling and reserving, but prior to giving my CC#, she tells me its more than double the listed price because the cheaper ones aren't available due to renovations. I asked to price match to what the website says and they wouldn't even though the place is likely to be empty. We'll gladly spend our money elsewhere. Update your website so people don't waste their time.
I was very disappointed, we were told the pool was flooded but weren't told the lake was still flooded, couldn't even put a boat in to fish 😡
RecommendedI admit I was skeptical initially after reading all the poor reviews this campground was getting.... but it turned out to be a great time. We were in the “Hanger” section. It was clean, the campers near us were friendly. We heard people far off that were loud pretty late but it wasn’t anything that was keeping us up at night. First and last time camping here!! Stuck back in the furthest corner, quiet time is obviously optional for some, was never told that the pool was out of order when making the reservation on Wednesday and the flooding and absolutely disgusting green, slimy water was never mentioned either. I understand that I asked for electric on my site but I still feel that $195 for 3 nights in a tent with a power strip to charge phones is crazy!! We love having are family annual camping trip here! Everyone is always very friendly! Even with their recent flooding we want to keep come to camp crystal lake! Can’t wait to come see them again!!!
