I had my cataract surgery recently and have always worn glasses and had astigmatism which I was always told cannot be fixed. I saw Dr Lourens and he immediately impressed me by telling me we will fix the astigmatism and get me out of glasses. The surgery was extremely straightforward and I had no issues. I could virtually see straight afterwards but it does take a few days to settle. Now I have excellent distance vision of better than 20/20 and I do not need glasses for reading even! I had Presbyond laser eye surgery a month ago and it was the best decision of my life! I used to wear +3 glasses just to see and even stronger reading glasses. Now my vision is perfect with better than 20/20 vision and to top it off i can read small print without glasses at all. I cannot fault dr Lourens who was brilliant throughout my laser eye surgery journey. The staff are impeccable and you will be treated like royalty. I recently had Presbyond and I cannot recommend it higher. Dr Lourens was amazing and has a great and calming bedside manner. The procedure was easy and painless and my vision is better than 20/20 and I am reading with no glasses. Absolutely life changing! Dr Lourens and his team at Crystal Eye and Laser centre are truly incredible and I cannot recommend them more strongly!! 10 stars
