A GREAT night. Velvet Funk blew us away! Smash burgers were excellent and the portions were fair for the price.
We were excited to try this restaurant and enjoyed the live music on the rooftop. However, the service was terrible, and our food arrived cold. The cheese curds and steak frites were so cold that the steak had to have been kept in the refrigerator. We had to wave down our server to order and for our check. The slow service delayed us at least 30 minutes. We spent over $100 for two people - I do not recommend going to this place.
The food has changed here recently and kit quite 5 stars anymore. The food is however still good and the service varies from goo to great. Atmosphere is awesome especially upstairs! We visit often and will be back.
Honestly the kitchen remodel Amarillo transformation has made our home the perfect place for family gatherings again. The smooth building process and great design ideas created exactly what we envisioned within our budget. The stress free renovation approach and quality craftsmanship made everything absolutely perfect for our needs.
