Nice staff, convenient location and beautiful interior. Free bike rentals were a nice touch. But there were some issues like tv WiFi not working, mattress not really comfortable, and walls were a bit thin..

I had booked a stay at La Concha for my wife and I for two nights. I was aware of the cancelation policy when I booked and was not concerned as I had no intention of canceling. After landing at Miami Intl and getting my rental car I headed to the the Keys. I was stopped by police due to the brush fires and route 1 was closed. I waited at a local Walmart parking lot for 4+ hours waiting for route 1 to open and reading news updates. We didn’t get the most welcome when we first got there. No greetings or directions on what to do with parking and so on. We ended up brining our own luggage cart and while pulling it in to the lobby, someone finally came out and apologized and helped us to our room. They charge you a resort fee per night that can be used to buy a drink or food at the bar. Rooms were clean but bathroom was so tight and small. Lovely hotel! We recently visited with our 9 week old baby. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The hotel very recently went under a multimillion dollar renovation to update the rooms, lobby, and restaurants. The rooms are on the smaller side (we crammed 3 adults and a baby in one room, so maybe our own fault? Also this older, historic hotel.), but clean and beautifully decorated.
