We joined Replace Your University in 2023..So far, we have used the Replace Your Mortgage option. We obtained a HELOC on our primary residence through PNC. Since we are older, it has been a transition in thinking on how to handle our monthly finances. But this December 2024 we were so glad we had completed this change. An excellent choice if you are looking to move from a traditional mortgage to a 1st Lien HELOC. We were introduced to RYU by our son Ted Cummins, and worked through the introduction, signed up, and then proceeded to get information and assistance from associate Chris Fugate, who helped us process all the steps to finally get with PNC Bank and our HELOC. We were on vacation last december and found RYU. We watched a video, had our consult and signed up. We just closed on the first position HELOC and are very excited to have our mortgage retired in about 6 years rather then 25 at a savings of about 205k in interest. I have joined RYU in April 2024. I took the course and learned all about HELOCs versus 30 year mortgages. It is the most valuable information that I have ever learned. It has taught me how to be my own bank and no longer a debt slave by being indebted to a mortgage for 30 years, not to mention the TIP (Total Interest Percentage) amount of the the 30 year mortgage that everyone is paying.
