I lived in the same apartment building with Cross River for 4 years. The place itself was fine, nothing really that bad. However, when it was time to move they made sure to wait to the last possible second to provide us with the info needed to move out and receive our security deposit back in full. After we did all the work specified by them to receive it, we did not receive the full deposit back. If I could give them no stars as I rating I would. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever experienced. We were expected to pay an exceedingly large electricity bill during the winter because we had to run the heat constantly. The lower level of the apartment never heats up and the top floor feels like a sauna and it's now because heat rises, it's because the unit was upstairs and not designed to heat the lower level... what??? This is the absolute worst landlord to rent from. Save your time and money because after moving out, chances are you or your roommates are not going to get your correct security deposit back with an itemized list and they're not going to respond to calls, emails, etc. They don't care about their residents and are extremely unprofessional. Your welcome in advance from saving you from a load of anger and straight up bullsh*t.
Very fair landlord. Decent place, not at all intrusive, maintenance has responded by the following day for everything we've needed. Great company to rent with.
