I called to see if they a knob I needed for my stove in stock and I was told that I had to come into the store in person with the make and model number. I said I have the make and model number now, I just want to know if you have it in stock before I drive all the way there. He said, we don't give that information over the phone you have to come in. I phoned the store to ask if they had a thermal cutoff for a Whirlpool dryer in stock. I was told that I needed the model and serial number AND the part in hand to determine if it was in stock. I told the guy that I had the model number and serial number in hand as well as the part. "Sorry, I need to see it". So, I drove 6 miles to the store, entered the store with the serial number, model number and part in hand. glad I formed my own opinion – After reading the other reviews, I was very reluctant to go to Crestwood Appliance. Once there however, I discovered that while the owner is an old guy kind of set in his ways, he was actually very helpful. Although he did not carry what I needed (shocking, given the eclectic and large inventory), he actually called another place, talked to them, got the price for me, wrote down the address and phone number and before he sent me on my way, he gave me a free scrubbie! DEFINITELY the rudest man in the USA! – I called to ask about the store hours. He snapped at me and said I close at 5pm SHARP. That should have been enough of a sign that this place was a terrible store. But, I went there anyway. I need a replacement tray to put under my refrigerator - to catch the water that drips. The rudest man in the USA? – I just wanted to know if this company repaired pressure cookers, or if they only did bigger appliances. So I called them and I got as far as "I have a pressure cooker and" and I was interrupted with "what brand is it?". I then said "I'm not sure but I just wanted to know if you repair........" and was interrupted again with "I can't answer any questions until you tell me what brand". Unbelievable rude service! – I read the other bad reviews, but thought I woud still give it a try because it's close. Called off and on for over two hours during business hours before someone finally answered the phone. When I finally got someone, they were so sarcastic and rude I couldn't believe it. They wouldn't even answer general questions about what they carried until I drove there and came in. The man kept interrupting me and talking over me when I talked. VERY RUDE!!! I will never go there.

RUDE AND NASTY, Find another place to do business with – I operate a retail business, in a very competitive luxury industry. I hate having to write a review like this about a fellow business operator. I have been repairing appliances since I was 9 years old, yes a fact. I have been buying parts for washers, dryers, and other appliances that long. Horrible – I never write reviews but felt so strongly that I had to write. The owner looked like an 80's throwback and treated his customers like garbage. It took all I had just to say I was taking my money elsewhere. This guy needs to realize that his customer service needs an update just like his mullet. I will never be back to this place.

Great People – I have known the owners all my life. Excellent people strait and to the point. You need a part that no one else has Call Crestwood Appliance 9 times out of 10 they will have it.
