Established in 1948, Crest Ranch Christmas Tree Farm is the oldest choose and cut Christmas tree farm in the Western United States. Located above Santa Cruz at the top of 2,600-foot Ben Lomand mountain overlooking the village of Boulder Creek, we have over 40 acres of Christmas trees with many tree varieties.

This has become our family tradition for 30 years. Always find the perfect tree, after we peruse the whole ranch. Everyone at the ranch are very helpful. Love this place.
This was our first time cutting down a tree. It was such a beautiful day and so kid friendly! I am hoping we make this an annual trip.

We have been coming here for years. We usually come on a Saturday. My husband and I just happened to be off together on a Friday. We always bring our furbabies and they love it. If you can I highly recommend going on a weekday. They weren't crazy busy, there was only a handful of other families there. I have never been comfortable just letting my dogs run around without having a hold of there leashes. But with it not being super busy I found myself letting them walk by them selves. Took my family there for their first time and they loved it. Ed and the staff are super nice. Dog friendly , cool tree houses, play area, and excellent scenery . Looking forward to next year and many more.
