Established in 1948, Crest Ranch Christmas Tree Farm is the oldest choose and cut Christmas tree farm in the Western United States. Located above Santa Cruz at the top of 2,600-foot Ben Lomand mountain overlooking the village of Boulder Creek, we have over 40 acres of Christmas trees with many tree varieties.

We love getting trees there! It’s always fun hiking around with the family in search of the perfect one. And we can bring our dog! We even have fun on the times it’s been raining (like today). Also, huge plus: they have carts for the trees. 👍

This was a nice place, however was a bit frustrated with the inefficient layout. They really need to create an entry and exit that are completely separate lanes. A vehicular and pedestrian traffic study could really make the campus much safer and increase customer satisfaction/overall experience.
