$399. 95 / hour labor rate as of August 2025. The going rate at independent shops is around $150-175 / hour in the same area. High end shops top out at $200 / hour. As soon as your car is in for a diagnostic, you're out $400 for 1 hour and diagnostics take longer. I was quoted around $10k in labor that another shop is handling for around $3k including parts.
