My child has been attending ABA here for 15 months now. I was struggling to find a center for him because every where insurance covered had mixed/bad reviews. I was scared of ABA because of horror stories I’ve heard from different families. My son has had 6 therapist (2 at a time, different sessions) in our time here. I’ve had no issues with any of them. My daughter has been a client with creative solution for hope for 4 years. This company lack of communication and poor staffing and has not been consistent in staff, which creates miscommunication and goals that needed to be addressed. This place is a joke. Instead of finding a solution to the problem, my daughter is not able to return to the company due to suggesting they communicate better and was unhappy with lack of staffing. Old ABA tactics are used here such as withholding or taking away items in order to get the child to say/do something along with planned ignoring/withholding attention which is known to cause trauma. My child had fear and anxiety every time they’d come to the front door. Please find a different company that is more naturalistic, play-based, and child-centered.
Avoid. The San Diego office is unhelpful with scheduling they want to maximize the insurances money . Inconsistent with therapists and you will be on a forever wait list for a new one. New Hires are hired with an everyday promise for scheduling a client. . This business cannot keep therapists. Cookie Cutter Scheduling and program
