It has been 9 years since I moved from Amarillo to Las Vegas, NV, and on a recent visit I had the opportunity to stop in at Crazy Larry's (had a new name from what I remember), and when I bit into a double chopped beef sandwich fond memories of Amarillo came rushing back. I am sure to go back again on my next visit.
The best BBQ ever don't know if it can be beat. If you want to know what BBQ is suppose to taste like go to Crazy Larry's. They have very nice people in there and a very clean organized dining area.
Great tasting everything. The way the house beans were done is the pinnacle.
Last time I was in Amarillo I figured I would try this "famous bbq". Brisket was sliced paper thin wich indicates poor quality product. The ribs were ok at best. I'm not real sure how to describe their sauce other then bland and not good. Over priced over rated, I would go eat at a dickeys before I come back to this place.
Wish I could add a photo of my moose frito pie & side of hot link !!! Sooooo good together !
BBQ is absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and the music they play (klove) is absolutely awesome! Favorite restaurant! Their Frito Pie and BBQ sauce beats anything and everything ever! ❤
Poor service and fake, wannabe BBQ have nixed this place from my "comeback" list.
