The steaks are my favorite! They have many options.
I'd rather eat at JACKS. In my opinion, Crazy Horse has NO TASTE at all. I will never waste my time going there again. AWEFUL!!!
The new location is very nice, never made it to the old one. The Southern burger was so good! Had a nice conversation with the owner, he was also a very nice guy!
Ate there tonight for the first time. SO GOOD!!! Can't wait to go back. They had the gastro pub menu, but we ordered shrimp and grits and the ribeye.
I had a steak back in November 2014... it was amazing! The prices are on par with the quality. I ordered my steak rare and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the mashed potatoes, which were to die for. I opted for the apple vinegarette and it was absolutely worth it!!!! Some days I crave that steak. Unfortunately I live out in Hoover. My family lives out in Clay, so it is always a good reason to go see them! ;)
The restaurant is very nice, but the food is certainly subpar. When a restaurant only has a handful of items on their menu (at an average cost of around $25/plate), one would expect every item on the menu to be excellent. But that isn't the case here. I ordered a $27 steak, which was overcooked and extremely under-seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes had a gluey taste and texture. We spent $80 on an extremely disappointing meal. We will definitely not be back.
The food had a good flavor but was not hot, it was more like it had been sitting in the window a while before the waitress brought it out and the service was horrible it took twenty minutes just to get our salads, there were people that got there way after us that had got their salads and were finished with them before we got ours once we got our salads I ask for a little more dressing and never got it, it was another 20 minutes before we saw her again and that was when she brought our food out.
