Had a great Father’s Day lunch there. Shared the ultimate platter with the family. Very delicious. Good service. 👍🏻
We dined at the swampshack yesterday for Father’s Day, and I must say the gumbo was dark-roux, loaded w/ crab claws and tender sausage, therefore a 5 excellent. The Snapper Pontchartrain was definitely 4.9, while the golden fried fish fillets, the medium fried oysters, and the fried shrimp were a hit w/ everyone at the table, The waiter, Rodney, was a cool character and served us well at the upstairs. Finally, we were going to order some Crawfish but, we know all to well that Best Crawfish season ends in May
1st time visiting 6/16/18 we got there early around 11:30am and was seated right away the food was great 👍🏾 and the waitress was nice and came to check on us a lot without overdoing it. My husband and I shared a dish and my daughter got 2lbs of crawfish whn in actually we all cld have shared one plate as it was plentiful expensive. We will go back by not often it’s pretty expensive but worth it.
Food is always good atmosphere and scenery is awesome if you haven’t give them a try you will love it.
I tell ya what!!,..I’ve eaten lots of seafood in lots of places, but I have to say that the Seafood there at the Swamp Shack in Kemah!!..SON!!..if I had a third thumb I’d give three thumbs up..it’s a must to stop in and try.
Only my second time there but both times service and food has been great. We both had fried shrimp which were amazing. Split onion rings and French fries. What wonderful onion rings. Maybe a full order next time. We will definitely return.
