totally agree with everyone complaining, this doctor is nasty. You'd think he was paying you to see him. Not sure how he keeps a practice with this kind of attitude.
I agree with the other people, he is ruthless and does not give a damn to your condition. I have tried him 3 times so far but have decided will never be seeing him again, I will revert to my old endo even though it means driving one hour to see him.
I have never posted a review on here but I have to about this man. I have never dealt with a doctor who cared less about how I was feeling. When my bloodwork came back dangerously low he acted like he didn't believe that I had actually been taking my medication! I made another appointment before my follow up because I was feeling so bad I had started to miss work, and all he did was another blood test. He does not listen at all to patient's symptoms. Our first visits were very thorough, but since then - over a year - my husband and I decided we can no longer endure the frantic personality of Dr. Crantz. He's hyper, doesn't appear to be listening and rushes in and out of the room like a crazed bumblebee. If you get more than one minute of his attention, it's a good day.
I agree that he rushes you in and out. You feel like you have thirty seconds to speak. He also uses an in house lab which magically isn't covered by BCBS (which he is a participant) I am not even sure this legal.
I have used him several times and I don't feel very comfortable with him. Very strange personality, he just checks u out, gets you for blood work and out the door you go with another prescription.
An outstanding doc. All business, but truly expert. Saved my life.
I'd agree w/most of the others. He took my numbers but didn't listen to my symptoms or try to adjust doses. It's taken 2 more docs before I found one that has really helped me feel better.
first appointment he listened but the 2nd- after driving over 100 miles round trip he saw me less than 30 seconds- whipped me into the lab for blood work than I had to chase him down for 2 weeks to get results. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I will not be traveling this far again for this treatment, can get the same much closer.
