Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream started in the back of our family restaurant, Thai Orchid Cafe, with one flavor: Coconut. After making ice cream for about 6 months as a simple dessert option, we noticed some customers were coming in to just buy the ice cream….and they didn’t order any Thai food. From there, we began serving our super premium ice cream at festivals, weddings, parties and schools. very unprofessional, hair found in salted caramel ice cream and they looked and me and said well.. no offer of refund! NASTY!!!
I have a lot of food allergies and I was shocked on my first visit to C&B last year (I've been meaning to write for awhile) when I was asking questions about their ice cream that they produced a complete ingredient list for everything and before they served me they rinsed the scoop and changed gloves. Ice cream flavored with bourbon. Sorbet flavored with balsamic. That is all.
All local ingredients, ice is made on the premises, and you can have bourbon with your icecream. Awesome.
