Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream started in the back of our family restaurant, Thai Orchid Cafe, with one flavor: Coconut. After making ice cream for about 6 months as a simple dessert option, we noticed some customers were coming in to just buy the ice cream….and they didn’t order any Thai food. From there, we began serving our super premium ice cream at festivals, weddings, parties and schools. Ice cream was great.I put the location in my gps it wasn't hard at all to find not sure why others complained they couldn't find it.. It was quite easy. The gingersnap was absolutely delicious the white chocolate peppermint made my heart drop ... Great tasty very satisfying... Great smiley staff very welcoming
Coffee stout is my fav. No other brand compares to this Ky Proud brand in quality and taste.

As someone who just moved to Lexington 3 weeks ago from a heavily populated resort area in VA, I can tell you that this place is amazing, unique, and ridiculously delicious! There is no place back home that can live up to the immediate love that I have for Crank & Boom! I am looking forward to a nice, long relationship with these folks ❤️
