Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream started in the back of our family restaurant, Thai Orchid Cafe, with one flavor: Coconut. After making ice cream for about 6 months as a simple dessert option, we noticed some customers were coming in to just buy the ice cream….and they didn’t order any Thai food. From there, we began serving our super premium ice cream at festivals, weddings, parties and schools. My niece took us there and the BlackBerry buttermilk ice cream was all that and more. So good. I will be back for more on my next visit to Kentucky.
The Mango Sorbet was delicious. My daughter got the salted caramel coconut and she said it was a must have again.

We held our wedding reception in the vault room. A++++ service and help! Our guests loves the all you can eat ice cream. Our party attendant was awesome. We had about 35 people and had just the right amount of space. So glad we chose this as the location for our wedding reception.
I've had the pleasure of their service and ice cream many times. The honey bourbon flavor is (still) my favorite. ☺
