I'm 54 and had never had a primary physician until I was hospitalized in February of 2025. Dr. Matherne and his nurse Ginger took me in and made me feel at ease. They take amazing care of me. I would recommend Internal medicine to anyone looking for health care.
Dr. Matherne is absolutely wonderful! He and his nurse, Ginger, and incredibly knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and kind. I feel like he really listens and truly cares about my health and about me as a person. He was my husband's PCP before becoming mine, and my husband has had such a positive history with him, that I chose to ask him to be my PCP as well. He is a fantastic doctor with a fantastic staff!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!
Do not recommend him, highly don’t recommend him!! He is condescending and won’t listen !! He needs lessons on social interaction!!
