Dr. Hoover is an amazing heart doctor. He genuinely cares for his patients and explains everything. His staff is very friendly and helpful. No wait time.
Dr. Hoover has been my doctor for years and is very good. However, his office has become completely incompetent and I would no longer trust my health or life to them.
Dr. Hoover has always provided excellent care. I have seen him in the office, in the hospital, and for a variety of procedures. He always exudes confidence in the successful outcome of the plan of care he prescribes, even trying new things. When things need to change, he is willing to think unconventionally to make the best choice for the patient. I sense his concern and know the things he prescribes for me are the same he would prescribe for his loved ones.
Dr Hoovers office neglected to even return my phone call, even after the ER doctor called them on my behalf as well. A week later, I did receive a phone call from another office saying that Dr Hoover was referring me to them. Never mind Dr Hoover, I'll go elsewhere.
Dr. Hoover is kind, competent, patient and thorough.
Dr Hoover was very helpful, answering my questions and helping to reduce my concerns.
Dr. Hoover completely missed catching my Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm. He did not even give me the proper tests (CT scan/ Echo) he gave me a stress test and talked to me for 5 minutes saying I was in perfect health and to go be a normal teen. I knew this didn't feel right seeing as how when I left my old pediatric cardiologist he told me I would need routine check ups after my open heart surgery. so I found a new cardiologist and sure enough after the RIGHT tests I was diagnosed with Aortic Aneurysm
