Food came out cold. 1/2 pound of crab legs was about 2 ounces of pencil-thin legs...stone cold. Reminded me of a bad copy of Red Lobster.
Was highly disappointed both times we tried eating here. Not only is the menu considerably higher than the other restaurants in the area, the food was considerably more disappointing. With the party of 8 (first time) and party of 6 (second go around) we were able to try many things on the menu and were unhappy with every one. Even if the prices were substantially lower the food would not be worth paying for. Do yourself a favor and try many of the other options nearby.
Both wife and myself had the amberjack there for lunch it was wonderful !!!!!
The best crab cakes around!!! The food was delicious, the service was great! We will definitely make it a stop each time we are here👍🍷🦀🦐
I had the blackened Amberjack. Very good! I highly recommend it. The waitress was friendly and courteous. I would definitely go back if ever in the area again.
Wasn't aware of 29 cent gumbo, wasn't offered it! I thought for the price of the meal portions would have been bigger! Glad I used a BOGO entree coupon! Waiter never did ask us if we wanted a second drink!
The place was busy and understaffed which is understandable. We were told the wait was 30 minutes which was understandable. But when you go to the bar to get a drink while you wait and the hostess/manager/bartender tells you rudely that if you want a drink it will be a while as that she doesn't have time to get u a beer or Dr Pepper, then makes drinks for tables, then leaves you standing there with no drink and no courtesy as to when she will be coming back or no apology that's sad. We never miss going to the Crab Trap anytime we are in Perdido Key. The staff is very accommodating and extremely welcoming. You are always made to feel like family no matter how busy or crowded they are when you're there. The food is outstanding--so many choices and each is delicious. Angel oversees her staff with a smile and genuinely seems to enjoy teaching her staff how to run a great restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant!
