One must keep in mind that Sargent is a laid back family and fishing community. If you are looking for upscale dining in this town, keep on driving. However The Crab Trap is quaint with a laid back and cute atmosphere that offers in door dining, screened back porch dining and open deck dining on Caney Creek. Eat here every time we come to Sargent, great food and great service!
Was a little upset that they were out of oysters. The food was good maybe a little over cooked . The seafood couldn't be any fresher . The Salad was fresh and crisp .

Husband and I out looking around in Sargent and stopped in for lunch. We had one of the best burgers ever!! Nice atmosphere over looking the water while boats go by.. We will be back!! Oh and the wait staff was nice and friendly too, that's always a plus!!
