Have eaten there twice in the last week--- and the food and the service was excellent both times 😁😁
It's BYOB which is awesome! There is a dock on Caney Creek to tie your boat up to. There is outside seating with a pretty good view of the creek. They will cook your catch. The atmosphere is great for Sargent. The food is ok to pretty good depending on what you order. The waitstaff is friendly and sassy, which is also perfect for Sargent!
Best steak in years. Chef can make some food. Wow! I don't know if I have had better in a long time. Quite of the path and a must stop in Southeast Texas. 10 stars.
Since this was the ONLY place open for dinner, I was hoping for better food & better service. The fried fish & hush puppies seemed extra saturated in grease & maybe like the grease was old......not sure but something was off. Was hoping for more fresh catch options from this area, seemed like mostly frozen items. Service was mediocre & our waitress was hard to find most of the time. The wait for a table was 30 mins & then another 30 min wait for food to get to the table. But I did give the place 3 stars & for 3 reasons......... read more
We ate there last night and was our first time. Food was awesome and service was great! Will be back for sure!
