I thought it was very different. I was a little uneasy about the no plates thing and eating off the table. But the customer service was great! The girls kept checking on us and asking how we were doing. I did not care for the gumbo but my hubby really enjoyed it. The garlic butter sauce was EXCELLENT!!! my next choice will be the shrimp and garlic butter sauce! We had the crawfish and it was great!!
I eat here all the time its the best spot in Bakersfield!

Waited what seemed like years to try this place. Maybe the wait was worth it. My wife and I loved it. She felt there was too much garlic in the sauce, but I love garlic. Maybe if we went spicier it would have equalled out. Thought we got a fair amount for fair prices. Definitely worth it. Can't wait to go again.
Amazing!! Was taken by my family for a birthday lunch. Not only was the food incredible the service was spot-on and the experience was unique. We came all the way from Shafter to eat there. We will be back, well worth the drive. The family that runs the place is really nice and the little girl helping her fam bam was a little sweetheart :-)
Absolutely amazing!! The service was very friendly and helpful and the food came out in great time. Which saved my life because the aroma of the restaurant made me so hungry! Lol. The clams, shrimp, and crawfish are all cooked to perfection and the Cajun mild sauce just made it even better. I couldn't stop talking about how great my visit was on the way home😂😂 I will definitely be returning and inviting friends to try it out too!🦀💕
It was a interesting place, hole in the wall but great service. Fish and chips very good but the clam chowder left me a little taken back, after taste I didn't like. We'll visit again.
