RecommendedI’m not a fan of the dentist.. but honestly who is. I had such a great experience at Cox & Walker. Dr Walker was my dentist and was very gentle with my teeth and gums. I was very pleased with my cleaning. Unfortunately I’m moving back to FL and I wish I could bring this office to FL, and continue receiving dental care here!
I have been a longtime patient of Dr. Laura Cox and look forward to every visit no matter how involved the procedure because she makes me feel my comfort is her top priority. Her staff are top notch, her location is convenient, and I saw her recently just after easing of the COVID-19 outbreak restrictions for dentist's offices, and her staff followed best practices precautions that made me feel safe. Been blessed with few dental problems. Dr Cox has been my dentist for 3 years. Late last week I experienced what I believed to be an abscessed tooth. We know that dentist are not doing any normal work due to Covid 19. I called the office and left a message explaining my situation. Dr Cox promptly returned my call. Saw me the next morning. My suspicions were correct. Dr Cox contacted knox Endodonist. They saw me the next day. Root canal and on the mend. Thank You Dr Cox
Staff is always friendly. Dr. Cox does a great job and is thorough. She comes across sincere, and she doesn't always find something else to fix (I've been to those types of dentists before). For those reasons, she has earned my trust, and I value her suggestions. I've been going to her for a couple of years now and am completely happy to continue going to her for all my dental needs.
Dr. Cox could learb a few thing or to from her gracious, beautiful and kind receptionist. She pulled four of my teeth today as though she were a bull-dozer pulling stumps out of the ground. Admittedly, I am not a good patient, but a good dentist (with thirty years experience, no less) should be understand a patient's fears and be sympathetic. Dr. Walker is absolutely wonderful. I'm not unique in my aversion to dental work, but finding Dr. Walker has been a God-send! She is open, friendly, and comforting in her approach and candor. Her work has been absolutely excellent and every effort to make me feel comfortable has been made, not to mention never being made to feel guilty (which I've often experienced in other offices). Additionally, the front-of-house staff is always friendly and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Cox & Walker! The best in Knoxville!
