Designing a new gable roof with metal panels was part of our home’s major remodel. We wanted the durability of metal, but with attention to layout and aesthetic lines. Old three-tab shingles were peeling off and sagging along the eaves. We did the entire roof replacement, stripping everything down to the deck, replacing weak plywood panels, and installing dimensional asphalt shingles. They also improved attic airflow by adding ridge vents and clearing out the old soffits. Knowing we won’t have to worry about the roof for a long time is calming.
We had a two-story home with a steep gable roof showing severe wear. It had missing shingles, exposed nails, and soft spots near the valleys. Chris and his roofer helped us with the roof replacement. Drew and his team replaced our rotted sheathing, installed better underlayment and ventilation, and used high quality architectural shingles that now make our home look beautiful. The new ridge caps and valleys were done cleanly perfect job.
Along with new siding and windows, we had Cox Roofing’s team do a roof replacement. They upgraded the entire roof, including the flashing around every penetration, and added an ice shield. Everything is new, and the new roof fits well. Thank you!!!
