COX IS REALLY BAD Cox in Las Vegas is really bad. Up till 2 years ago I would loose my internet connection any time the wend blew or it rained. I would put in a service call and of course they came out one or two days latter, it would be calm and the sun was shining. The answer was always the same, ??There doesn??t seem to be a problem?. Cox lacks customer service savy In this day and age COX should be able to compete financially with other providers. I emailed COX to inform them I can no longer afford the high basic cable and high speed internet costs as I am paying $130 for both. Stimulus Package I called Cox and told them I was considering cancelling service, because my bill was too high. To keep me as a customer they lowered the bill by like 40% for a year. They also gave me free HBO and said they appreciated me being a customer. It's company philosophy's like this that continue making me a satisfied customer. Oh and the service is good too.
One bad experience after another When we moved to Las Vegas a year ago, our high speed internet was paid for by my husband's work through their corporate account. Twice, in the first 6 months, our internet was cut off without notice. Turns out the installers would be in the area changing service, and see that we were receiving high speed internet service, check with the residential service dept., see that there was not a residential account at our address, and take it upon themselves to disconnect our service. Cox Cable Service in Henderson NV Well moved my existing service to my new address. My new house was built in 2007 and had no cable running from the street to the home but the house is already pre-wired for everything. What did it cost?- 23.96 for an additional outlet. Well talked to the company and being passed around for 40 minutes asking what an additional outlet means becasue there were no drilling or additional wiring of any kind only to get no real answer. What customer service Get this I called to cut back on services and they told me ok but I would be charged until I returned the box, OK. Horrible I just called Cox and ask for an explanation of the additional charges on my bill. After 35 minutes and 4 people that had no idea of how or where these charges came from I gave up.Also I ordered their telephone after receiving a letter addressed to me offering free installation. I called them, mentioned the letter and told I was getting free installation. After it was installed I was billed $19.95 for installation. Hidden charges all around! I had my cox cable and internet installed. I moved from new york to Las Vegas. I called them around november 28 and they said they will install it on dec 3. I asked the customer service specifically how much I will be paying and if there is any extra charge for the installation and modem plus cable box and the person said no. so we agreed that I will be paying around 66$ plus tax. When the bill came on December, I was billed 359$!. For the installation, modem, and the cable box.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON DIGITAL PHONE I am very unhappy with their digital phone service. It is not running smoothly. They installed and phone had no connection after one day. They fixed it after two days then after two days, phone is dead again. Ask them to fixed it ASAP but no accommodation was done. We had to wait again for couple of days. Right or wrong?
