Dr. Cowman came highly recommended by someone who had done her research. My family of four has been under his dental care for 13 years and we are all very satisfied with him. His staff is personable and he is quite amusing.
Great Dentist and Great Staff! I visited Dr. Cowman's office in March of 2010 after a filling had fallen out. They got me in right away, very reasonably priced, and very efficient. Dr. Cowman and his staff were extremely friendly and made you feel welcome. In November of 2010, that same filling fell out and Dr. Cowman saw me right away and fixed it at no charge! I would recommend him to anyone seeking out a great, affordable and friendly dentist in the San Diego area!
I have had cleanings, fillings, and crowns done, and I can't recommend Dr. Cowman highly enough. He is young enough to be up on all the latest technology (e.g., digital x-rays and photography), and experienced enough to know what to do with it. Easily the best of three dentists I have been to in San Diego. I no longer live in PB, but I still go to him because he is worth the trip. Staff is terrific, too (see below re hygienist). If you are looking for a dentist, I encourage you to give him a try.

I am not one who likes going to the dentist. I had what I thought was cavity in my front tooth. It ended up that it was just a soft spot. He was great. He was also great with my kids, one of which has a disability and has major fears of doctor, dentists ect.
I was scared to death because I have never liked dentists, but I had to lose my two front teeth and get a partial made and everyone treated me like family, from Karen in the front office to Dr. Matt himself. They make you feel comfortable the minute you call to set up an appointment. Dr. Matt was the most gentle and kind dentist ever. I would never go anywhere else. If there was any pain at all, I don't remember it.
Dr. Cowman and his entire staff are the BEST! They have taken care of me from the very first day that I arrived in the office. I actually look forward to going to the dentist and going to my hygienist. They ALL have my complete trust and confidence. Kenneth D. Watson
Dr Cowman and his staff are the best! I recommend him to all my friends. They are friendly and it's a treat to go in for a checkup.
