Food and service were excellent. Crab cake appetizers, catfish dinner and salads are recommended!
Stumbled upon the restaraunt while driving around on our recent vacation and what a treat it was. Our experience was great and we had no complaints. Fried shrimp was very very good. I don't normally care for hush puppies but my husband kept saying they were great so I decided to try them and they were the best I ever had! The potatoes skins were also very good and not just a skin with toppings, they had plenty of potatoes in them as well. The brunch is wonderful! The wait staff are young but well versed. Mr & Mrs Laurie are very lucky to have such a beautiful place!
This was our first time trying Cowboy's on the Water. We loved the atmosphere and the catfish and oysters were delicious! We'll definitely return. Our server was awesome as well.
Food was pretty good (The catfish is quite tasty but the sweet tea isn't so sweet) and a fair value. The view from our deck seating was very pleasant. However, the wait staff is not attentive. One should NEVER need to ask for a drink refill, condiments, salt & pepper; should always be asked about a dessert; shouldn't have to wait for > 10 minutes for the check to be picked up (We were getting up to take inside to pay when a manager stopped to ask if everything was ok. No.)
Cowboys not only hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner but also my big family a few weeks prior after my grandmother's funeral. I am so happy we had our rehearsal dinner here and of course the food was delicious. Thank you all!!

I've not eaten at Cowboys in years, so my boyfriend and I stopped by yesterday. I ordered crab legs and they were horrible. They had been sitting for so long that the shells were pliable and when I finally got them opened, they were filled with water. After opening one bunch, I had to send them back. I ate my salad and baked potato, plus one fried oyster from my boyfriends meal. Within 30 minutes, i was sick. He was sick by the time we got home. It had to be the oysters. I'm still sick, too sick to go to work today.
Lake view with beautifully inviting beach themed decor inside and really enjoyed live music on the deck and being able to see the lake from our table and the food definitely does not disappoint! Nice portions at reasonable prices! Glad we stubbled upon it on our stay in Tennessee! ⚓️
