Going to UMC next time. Husband went in an ambulance. I had to wait in lobby. They did not have his med list. I needed be with him but had to wait ten minutes...he's 74 and doesn't have a clue what all he takes. He got a shot that it is questionable as to harming his heart. Doc zipped in and started pressing his stomach. I said hey, it's his back. He never examined his back but ordered an X-ray. Guessed it was sciatica. I had to ask for oxygen since he went to sleep while we waited.
Hospital is a secondary facility to the Covenant MICU...the facility is clean with lots of staff...appears most of these patients are seriously ill....no children under the age of 14 are allowed out of the lobby or in patients rooms.....Staff is attentive and eager to please..
I took my mom in to the ER at about 1:30 Sunday Morning. She was very sick, we did not wait , they took her straight back, The ER staff was wonderful.
There is no better place to get care for yourself or those you love.
Dr. Norkiewicz is wonderful! He listens to his patients. The staff is great. We are comfortable with Covenant hospital.
My son spent 72 days in the NICU at Covenant and every medical provider showed him and the rest of our family grace and compassion. They help turn a traumatic experience into a great experience.
Once again Covenant and thier physicians have dropped the ball regarding my family member!!! If i wasn't all the way in east texas I would move her to UMC and have the peace of mind that my family members health and well being is thier top priority! Shame on you Covenant! I will be in touch with you regarding this matter!
The staff at Dr. Gaines office is rude and unprofessional!
The doctors, nurses, cashiers, and everyone is so nice and helpful here. I was given a room so I could be near mom. They go above and beyond here. They fixed my mom up and took great care of her.
