The GM Michael and useless manager Tracy, ruined my entire trip to Richmond when they made a mistake to Richmond by charging my debit card an additional $250.00 for smoking damages they made up after I reserved a smoking they say they did not give me. After an hour on hold with customer care, all I got was sorrier I walked into that the Marriott Courtyard on Broad St. Please find a better option if you find yourself in Richmond with the government.
Bad management , My time was wasted after I thought I had a job opportunity after getting hired. I called / left messages multiple times for a month and NO ONE got back to me with any official news until today. Just to tell me I no longer had the position. It Would've been nice to have the courtesy of knowing a month ago. But from what I've seen the establishment is clean.

Clean and spacious rooms. Nice staff, lean lobby. Hotels in this neighborhood can be hit or miss but I will return to this hotel.

This is my go-to hotel for Richmond race weekends. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and it's an easy drive to the track. Today I needed a cup of coffee after the Bistro staff had already closed down. No problem. She gave it to me on the house. Now that's service!

From the extremely helpful front desk staff of Ashley and Crystal to the amazing bistro staff of Adam and Myrl, it was an incredible stay with outstanding customer service. Will definitely choose this hotel again.
Great for a short overnight trip. Was close and convenient to the train station. Their cafe was better than most.
