No complaints. Everything was great. If any complaint, it would be that breakfast is not included.
Came out to Bakersfield on business, I was a little skeptical staying overnight cause Bakersfield doesn’t have the greatest reputation. However I went with the courtyard Marriott and was quite pleased. My boyfriend tracked with me and though they didn’t offer us a late check out- the older woman (can’t remember her name) said there would be no problem with him hanging out in their lobby till I was down with work. Customer service was terrible! The hotel stinks, it’s dirty and the employees uniforms look ghetto! My mom works for Marriott and this location is an embarrassment to the company. I complained to the manager about our stay and she said she would do anything we wanted so we asked to have our room comped. Apparently she was too busy with her lunch break that it wasn’t important to her. There was blood stains on the sheets!!!!! I asked for something to be brought to our room and was told we had to go down and get it ourselves! ... read more
They had no control about their family guest. Kids were running all over the hotel till past midnight. Pool was populated with beer can holding chaps. Half the stuff in the Cafe was not available. Rooms are fine.
I've stayed here many times over the last few years for work and it's my favorite place to stay when I'm in Bakersfield. It's conveniently located near two major highway arteries and has some great food in close proximity. Besides being reasonably priced, the staff has always been ready accommodate all my needs. On this trip, Angela at the front desk was nothing less than awesome! She was cheerful, bright and a breath of fresh air after a long drive. Keep up the good work and I will definitely be back!
