Nice clean rooms and friendly staff.
I’m writing a new review as once the hotel understood my issue they fixed it immediately. Class hotel in the heart of downtown Amarillo. It’s my favorite place to stay when I’m out there for work. Highly recommended.
I arrived in the early morning hours, exhausted from travel, and was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who genuinely inquired about my journey and shared stories of his that related to mine. I still carry the pin he gave me on my travel pack. The view was beautiful, the room was perfect, but it was the human kindness that made this stop unforgettable.
I’ve stayed in this hotel three years in a row and enjoyed every stay! The hotel is clean and spacious, and the staff goes above and beyond to be gracious and accommodating! David and Honey at the desk and Lucy at the breakfast bar are top notch people, period! They work hard and made sure my grandsons and I were 10/10 taken care of—with genuine smiles that reached their eyes! We’ve been staying at this wonderfully renovated building for five years on our way through Amarillo. The team members are terrific, they listen and are accommodating. The old character of the building is charming, the rooms are expansive, clean and with terrific views (not like the Tetons or anything). The only issue is their attempt to extract $6 for a single bottle of water in the room to make coffee.
