I am a patient of Dr Brooks. I tried calling his office for 2 days and received a message saying check the number and dial again. I finally went to his office to find out what was going on. There was a note on the door that said “due to dr Brooks retiring, the office is now closed”. SERIOUSLY…no email, no letter, no phone call. How unprofessional. New patient with this doctor in late summer/early fall and they did not inform me they were closing 12/31/2022. Brought all my medications and asked for new refills. Newly moved to area so this is not usually an issue. One of my rx was ozempic and another for my CGM and he stated he’s never heard of either and refused to submit the paperwork justifications for my refills; I have uncontrolled diabetes. Get great medical care from the Dr and staff... very friendly people, and the Dr gives time for any question... he genuinely cares about his patients.
