I just had the worst experience i have ever had in any establishment. They just pretty much told me to my face they were running a scam. They offered me a car for one set price whether i had good or bad credit. If i had some one to cosign with good credit they would up the price on the car. And if i used my own name they would charge me a higher interest rate but lower the price of the car. Excellent service, with one exception. I was told my 2011 Toyota Highlander was in bad need of alignment, that the misalignment was chomping away at my tire tread. Not buying into it, I said "No thanks, Ill wait until later." The service rep then reminded me that it was a lot cheaper to align that to buy new tires at \$300 each.I agreed with the latter, but also knew at the time that the car displayed absolutely no drift, no signs of misalignment and that the tread looked just fine. I coulnnt even get past a phone call. Saw a Nissan Murano on line. I called to see if it was still available before I drove to Tampa. Talked to Sonny, he did not know if they had it or not! Helloooooo, dont they have some kind of paper work showing available or sold. How hard can it be? Anyway, he told me he would look and call me back. After 2 hours, I called again. My mother bought a car from Courtesy Toyota last year and, at that time, felt that we had a good experience so I went back to buy myself a Camry. I found one that didnt have exactly what I wanted but the salesman said he would take off \$1000. for loyalty and gave me that rock bottom price because I was a returning customer. I was told it was a Camry LE with leather seats. I knew the LEs didnt have a leather option and mentioned as much to which he admitted it was after market. OK. To say the least I was very disappointed with the service received at Courtesy Toyota would be an extreme understatement! I went there to have service because of a recall notice. I told them they could do my regular preventive oil change etc. They came back to me and said I need to have the Drive belt replaced. An repair I just had done 5 months ago, they said the belt was bad, cracking. Well I did not let them replace it. Took my car back to my regular Toyota Dealer, Toyota of Tampa Bay. We walked in , asked to drive one, and really felt like we were interupting their day. The guy didnt tell us his name, anything about the car, if we were buying leasing, or anything. The guy TOTALLY wasnt interested in helping us, he acted annoyed that we caught him walking in between offices, and we interrupted his video game play or nap. We are buying a Scion, but not from these folks, obiviously they dont want the business!
