The braids are beautiful and neat, but there was too much gel applied at my root. This was my first time getting braids in several years. I wish there was more of a consultation before we started. I asked for medium knotless braids...they estimated 4-5h, and it took about 6h. One braider did the back half of my head and a different braided did the front. I think the braids and boxes are more small than medium. Maybe I should have communicated better my desired size of the boxes and braids separately...because I'm dreading th... read more

Courtesy Braids is a wonderful place to get your hair done. Nadine is very kind and accommodating, always willing to work people in based on their schedule. Not only do they supply braiding hair, but their work is beautiful and stays for a long period of time. I get my hair done there and it usually lasts me anywhere between 8-10 weeks before having to get it redone. Horrible experience. I paid 70.00 for two strand twist for my 12 year old son. He has the sides and back cut low. They did not wash my son’s hair. The style lasted 4 days at best. I am so angry that my money was wasted.
