Maintaining a healthy, beautiful smile takes effort, but we make it easy and comfortable. Our main concern for our patients is their health, which starts with keeping tooth cavities, gum disease and other oral issues at bay. Dr. Mapes and our entire dental team are caring professionals that strive to make our patients feel relaxed and at ease while we care for their teeth and gums. They told me that Dr. Ian Mapes was in-network with my insurance and that there’s 0 cost for me. However, months later, I find out that they charged $890 and were actually out-of-network. I wouldn’t come back here because of deceptive practices.
Similar experience to the reviewer below, I went in for a routine cleaning + x-rays and was charged over $300, when they assured my insurance would cover it. The final bill was $900 and my insurance only covered $550. Not only this but they told me I needed two root canals, one of which would cost over $3000. I’ve called multiple other places and gotten out-of-pocket quotes of significantly less than $2000. This is my first written review on Google, I really never do this but felt the need to warn others. I won’t be going ba... read more
SCAMMERS!! BEWARE!! Beautiful building, lots of tech software, but it's all because they scam people and use that money to look high end. Went in for a routine cleaning, they assured me before that my insurance covered the routine cleaning, and then at the end - nope! $500 bill. Also, they said I needed a root canal, and had 6 cavities, and that it would be $5,000! -- uhm, no. I went to a dentist 6 months ago before I lost that insurance, someone I've gone to for years, and had no cavities. SCAMMERS!
Don’t go here. They’re scammers. I came in for an exam and cleaning and provided all of my insurance information while booking the appointment. While signing in they asked me to confirm that I pay out of pocket what my insurance covers but they reassured me that they would let me know if I owed anything that day. After my appointment they tell me they don’t take my insurance and charged me $300 for the appointment and try to claim its because I didn’t provide “enough” my insurance information ahead of my appointment. That is... read more
Like many other reviews have said, this place is very sketchy & deceptive about charges. Unless you enjoy being misled or overpaying, this place is not for you. This place advertises that they accept 200+ insurances as "in network" on Zocdoc. What they mean is that "they may work with" these insurances, meaning the insurances may cover a small portion of the procedure. It will not come close to what you'd expect your insurance to cover for genuine in network providers. I have Delta Dental PPO, and I came in to have a chip in... read more
