Good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Recommend the buffet.
Have always gotten great service and the menu is a varied one so a lot of choices. We eat there at least 1 to 2 times a quarter when we travel to Powhatan to visit family as we come up from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. menu prices are reasonable.
Our server was less than welcoming, even though I said it was our first time there. She was too concerned about what we were going to order so we'd be done with table that was reserved. I was happy to move but she insisted it was okay to sit there - then don't mention your concern about us being gone in time! Then she brought the dreaded unsweetened tea instead of what we asked for and for an $18 buffet, how about dessert be included? Oh yes, when we asked for the blackberry cobbler "we're out". Great Food, Great People & Great Friends! ❤️ My Favorites Janie's Meatloaf, mashed potatoes ,green beans & homemade rolls. Grannies Crab cakes with squash medley & rice. Don't forget the desert Chocolate Chess Pie heated with ice cream! Then there's Sunday's Buffett WOW!! Home made cinnamon buns to the sweetest Honey Ham you'll ever eat!! FAMILY DINING AT ITS BEST!!! ❤️ ❤️
