Definitely one of my favorite places! Great food and great service with a homelike atmosphere.
I'm very sad about this news since this as my very first restaurant I ever went to and this is a family tradition with us, I really hate to see it go. I see this place as family. Please don't shut down continue the legacy!
I've been eating there since 1973 when you ate at the counter, before they added on. I'd walk in and they'd already know what I wanted without asking. They had many patrons that were regulars like me. They never changed their recipes. You ate real, unfrozen food. It was by far my favorite place to eat. I don't live in Amarillo now. But I'd make sure I'd eat there when I came to town. No reason to go to Amarillo now that Country Pride has closed.
Sad to see it go , but sure understand 62 years is a long time great food.
Always have loved CP. Now are they closing or not?
