This hotel hired my daughter and she worked for 8 hours. Now they are saying they don’t owe her the wage promised. She couldn’t work for 8 hours again ; as they did not give her a break, during the first day she worked. I know my family and friends will consider this when choosing to/ or not give them their business!
On June 24 I along with other family members stayed at this hotel ( 2 rooms) We were kept awake all night with fire alarms , first one for nearly one hour straight and then about every 20-30 minutes. Night auditor said it was faulty fire alarms caused by fire alarm being broken and waiting on part. He also said alarm had been cut/silenced to fire and police dept, I was up checking door and hallway with every alarm as no hotel staff ever came to floor to check if real fire but just assumed it was faulty alarm. our recent visit to the Country Inn & Suites in Novi off of Haggerty Road. My wife and I, our two daughters (ages 6 and 12), three of their friends of similar ages, and two other adults stayed overnight to have a pool party for our six-year-old’s birthday. We extensively used both the pool and hot tub at the hotel. We stayed from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning (April 14th-15th).
