This place is horrible. My grandmother had to do a short stint in rehab after a pace maker surgery. She was told she could not get up without asking for assistance. She was left in a chair and no one came to help her. She was repeatedly pressing her call light for help for going to the restroom, and no one came! She finally after over a hour of waiting patiently, managed to get herself out to the hallway and ask for help. She is on a very strict diet due to kidney disease and heart. Did this provider listen to your input and concerns? Definitely not! I was constantly interrupted or cut off! Do you feel that you could have received better service somewhere else? Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else! Does this provider adhere to the customer is always right policy? Absolutely not!! The team at Country is excellent - a variety of talents and skills, they have provided excellent care for my Mom and Dad. There are many factors to consider in selecting a rehabilitation or nursing center and Country gets high marks for their cleanliness, food, activities and personalized approach as well as the teamwork. They were explained, but not thoroughly Was this provider's office too cold? No, it was fine Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines? We would like to to know this is one of the worst nursing homes in the country. Like many people, we found ourselves in a gap during the course of caring for our mother's progressive Alzheimer's disease. She then temporarily stayed in Country Manor Nursing Home in Newburyport, a completely degraded environment. We were desperate to get her out of there.
