From counseling here, I learned how to self-monitor and dumb-down my speech for someone who is too dumb to follow a fleshed-out narrative. And being encouraged to study social dynamics was a great takeaway. Other than that, I just looked at my notes from my sessions here, and half of what she recorded was false. Not very helpful for mental health services, opportunities fill up too fast
Unhelpful. Showed up for the first time only for them to tell me that they had a long wait list and couldn’t see me until a month later. Did not get any advice during the session. It seemed more like an emotional rant to some stranger.
