We just got back from the Cotton Patch and what a HORRIBLE meal!!! And its too bad, as we really wanted to like the place. Its not too far from our house and we enjoyed watching the animals. But as far as the food goes, just awful. The shrimp and scallops I ordered were like eating cold rubber cooked in vegetable oil. My husband ordered the rib eye and it was as tough as shoe leather. Im not crazy about dining among farm animals to start with. Kinda lost my appetite from the get go. The owner lady is not a very nice person. My food was just OK. I was heaing lots of negatives about this place so I had to try it out for myself. Not impressed by the new owners at all. Lots of employees have quit because of them. Getting rid of the silly farm animals or just turning the joint into a petting zoo might be a good move for them.
I think that rumbafool is a liar because i go to the cotton patch every weekend and the bosses are very nice they make there way around the dining room to ask everyone how there food is. They say Hi and good bye. I went in there the Opening night when it came back and the bartenders that were there are ther except for a few of them. I love there food, the atmospere is great our kids love the animals. We will always be loyal customer the the Cotton Patch Supperclub
Had a great filet and prime rib - perfectly done. Super table service. Looking forward to returning.
Swans were good, waitstaff was good, food and entertainment were just ok.We ordered tuna and the shrimp and scallop pasta. Neither one was anything to write home about. The dining room was nice although definitely more of a joint that the grandparents will dig. If you like a pleasant atmosphere, with below average food, and a view of some local farm animals, then by all means go for it. If you actually enjoy good food, then dont worry about dropping in.
The Cotton Patch supper Club in Shawano is our "go to place" when visiting the area, for gracious dining , & listening to live music! The staff is friendly & welcoming & the food & drink varied & delicious...I LOVE the cedar plank salmon!!! This a wonderful destination for the whole family. The animals & lovely pond make a great backdrop to the whole dining experience!! Do NOT miss out on The Cotton Patch & all it has to offer.
I have vacationed up in Shawano several times and always look forward to stopping by the Cotton Patch. They have a marvelous salad bar and everyone in my party commented how great their dinners were. We stopped at the bar after dinner and even though they were very busy everyone was very accomodating. This is the best restaurant in the area. Love the fish on Fridays and prime rib on Saturdays. Their prices are very reasonable. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. Try the brunch on Sundays. Its great.
