First time at Cotton Patch , Drove 20 miles had heard a year ago they had a great Salad bar Wrong didn t know it had changed but hey give it a shot, Everyone was friendly but the menu is not the normal, Can t get a baked potato? Not in Season ? HUH? Never heard of the salad dressings, The bread was stale dried out, But the prime rib was very good, Its different but the view is nice Not somewhere I would drive back too, Glad I tried once
iI was very disappointed with everything on my last visit. The food and drinks were over priced and the owner was like a walking commercial for the new oil section. We went in to eat, and enjoy a night out. She was practically shoving this stuff down our throats. We used to love the salad bar but now you get a few bites of salad with Guess What? Oil. I think the reviews are written by the owners, as they have far more than any other place in the area. Everyone I know who has been there recently says its overpriced and the owners are rude and uppity. I went to the Cotton Patch over the summer, and I paid a fortune for a weak drink, and was told they are cutting back when I asked for a second olive. We arrived 25 minutes before closing and still were treated royally form the time we walked in and were greeted at the door, till the time we departed. Our waitress, I believe her name was Jacque, never rushed us, even though we came so late.We ordered scallops and the tuna steak, both were excellent!The bartender, James, was also friendly, and made a great Lemon Drop.Karen, the owner was very friendly, and easy to talk with. I think THE COTTON PATCH is a great place to not only eat, but to socialize as well.I have been there many times. Great view of a large pond with a fountain, and many different animals. There is a wonderful deck outside to sit and relax on a nice day. The food? Dont get me started on the food...WONDERFUL. Scallops are just down-right fantastic. I have been to the Cotton Patch twice this spring and really enjoyed myself. Both meals were very good and the atmoshere is great. I love the addition of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar bar. I will definitely bring my family back!!! If you havent been there in a while, its worth another try.
My experience at the Cotton Patch was incredible, The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and the entertainment phenominal. I learned the " Cotton Patch Shuffle" along with other customers and the wait staff joined us. How fun they were! Cant wait to go back again. Probably have NEVER been to a more accommodating place!
We went to Cotton Patch last weekend and the prices are way to high for the area. I guess it wouldnt be so bad if the portions we good. I order the tenderlion medallions and I got about 5 bites of tenderlion. My husband wanted the ribs and the wait staff said that those wont be done until 645pm. What the heck on a Sat night and they dont have the ribs done? Will not go back! Way tooooo expensive for what you get!
The Cotton Patch has just gotten better and better over the last several years. Every time we go it seems that owner Karen Evenson adds some little touch that adds to the ambience and seems just right for this property. The wait staff is really good and after a few bumps in the beginning after changing ownership, proper training of the staff has really made for a professional experience.
