I would suggest a more TLC when preparing meals. Definitely some season, Ol bay perhaps. More inviting and welcoming staff. canopies to help shade patrons from sun when dining at the tables outside.

Recommendedafter kayaking in BB Cove for 3 hours with my sister . we decided on Costello for dinner. we ordered the fish tacos, the whole belly clams and the clam fritters. the service and the food were outstanding!

I've been there two times this year. both were terrible experience. nobody cleans the fryolator apparently. Everything tastes like burnt garbage. I normally would never write a scathing review about somebody's restaurant. But this place is not the same as I remembered it when I was a kid. avoid yourself some heartbreak and don't bother going. nasty nasty disgusting food

We drove down from northeastern CT...it was our anniversary and bad enough it was raining....the food was TERRIBLE!!! chowder was cold...and whole bellys were over cooked and burnt tasting...what a waste of money....very disappointing..oh and they didnt even clean the tables.....
Food is bland. Generous portions, but flat tasting.
