We are closed for the 2018 season and will reopen May 10, 2019 @ 11:30am! Costello’s offers outdoor dining by the sea and classic New England fresh & fried seafood. Fried clams, fish tacos, scallops, oysters, shrimp & steamed lobsters are a few highlights! Be sure to check out our full menu. Just past Abbott’s on Pearl Street, dine dockside on the Mystic River and enjoy our famous three-state water view. Bring your appetite & BYOB!

Absolutely amazing!! Gorgeous sunsets near the ocean!!
First time there and Waited over thirty minutes for chowder and fritters and when I got the chowder it was barely luke warm. Chowder was not rich and creamy it was worse than canned chowder. I wouldn’t go back
RecommendedI had great fried clams. The french fries that came with them are just slightly larger than the Potato Sticks that you would get in a can for a snack. Very good if I might say so. Better than many others that I have had with a seafood dinner. Great view of the Harbor from either the lower or upper deck. I highly recommend it that's a place to get a nice seafood dinner on a summer day
I am so happy that we found Costello’s Clam Shack! We sat upstairs on the balcony. Great views & loved watching the activity taking place on the water. Once ordered they deliver the food to you. The food was awesome. We have found our new favorite clam shack. I had the whole belly Clam dinner. The clams were bonified whole bellies and they were so tender and so tasty. Their menu is quite large and there is a variety of food to please any palette. Next time I’m trying the Clam Fritters which state on the menu “full of clams”.... read more
Nice view. Good food decent prices. Need better selection of local sodas but otherwise great. Some Hosmers Mountain Soda would be great.

Been going for years,great food, atmosphere and views!!!
Looking for a off the wall sea food place and found it in Costello’s , had lobster Bisque and wife had New England clam chowder. Was excellent. Also had lobster roll. All meat with slaw and fries. Outdoor seating with a great view. Must try all.
This was my first time here. We ordered clam strip dinner and fish and chips dinner also popcorn shrimp. Everything was delicious, the clam strips were exceptional, probably the best We ever had. Thumbs up we will be back.
