I figured out years ago I can get great glasses at Costco for a great price after I get my exam at my local eye doc (who has an in-house optician with outrageous prices, not looking to pay $350 with insurance). Lots of frame options, good customer service (to those leaving one star reviews about the service, it’s not the Ritz folks; you might have to say “excuse me” to get someone’s attention or wait 20 minutes). Costco REDWOOD CITY carries nice Eyewear BUT THEY NEED TO RE-TRAIN OR TERMINATE THE TWO PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER AN OLDER LATINX LOOKING MAN AND A YOUNGER LATINX LADY THEY WERE SO ENGAGED IN THEIR PERSONAL COVERSATIONS THEY DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE NOR ASK IF I NEEDED ASSISTANCE. What’s even the point of booking a 15 minute appointment if there will be a 40 minute wait after you show up. It was annoying how I finished the entire eye screening with no warning that there would be a wait. The staff are nice and there’s lots of equipment but it was a big waste of time.
